The Town of Cohasset offers assistance for Cohasset residents who are struggling with substance use disorder and their family through stipends for family therapy sessions and scholarships for sober housing. Scroll for more information and how to apply.

Family Therapy Scholarships
Scholarships are aimed at providing individuals with family therapy sessions to address the profound effect that substance use disorder can have on individuals and their loved ones. Through these sessions, the expectation is that individuals will be equipped with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of addiction within a family structure, foster healing and resilience, and strengthen mental health. ** Scholarship is for financial assistance only and does not provide therapy services.
Housing Scholarship for Sober Living
Housing assistance is provided to individuals for the transition from addiction treatment to a sober living community. However, imminent employment to sustain living arrangements is required. Emergency housing assistance for unforeseen circumstances such as illness and employment interruptions may also be approved. Sober living is intended to provide a safe, supportive, and structured substance-free environment to strengthen and build an individual’s foundation of recovery.
