What Parents Need To Know About Adolescent Mental Health

Please Join Safe Harbor Cohasset, The Paul Pratt Memorial Library and The South Shore Art Center for our Spiral Upward guest speaker, Brian Scott, Esq, for a talk about what parents need to know about mental health and adolescents. 

About Brian Scott: Brian graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and cum laude from the Massachusetts School of Law. He is a CertifiedPeer Specialist and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.  Living with both depression and anxiety, Brian is focused on fighting stigma and working to ensure that others living with, and affected by, mental illness have access to the resources and care they need to lead positive and healthy lives in recovery.

Spiral Upward – Recovery is Possible Exhibit on Display

Smaller paintings, part of “The Opioid Project” an art and storytelling project that highlights individuals in recovery, and the people who supported them on their journey, are on display, courtesy of McLean Hospital. The larger posters displayed are part of their “Deconstructing Stigma” campaign.Accompanying audio can be accessed via iPhone.
